Over the course of 14 years, Crip Erickson has helped a wide range of clients – seasoned sellers, first time buyers, people dabbling in their first rental, and savvy investors looking for commercial space or large multi-units.
He began his career in 2005 at Realty Executives in Old Town Fort Collins during the heyday of HUD foreclosures and moved to 8z Real Estate for 2.5 years before opening Erickson Realty in 2017. He splits his time equally between buyers and sellers, and enjoys sorting through contract issues and finding investment properties. Although he covers all of Northern Colorado he specializes in midtown Fort Collins, an area he is passionate about for a number of reasons. He also has a proven track record by helping his owner-occupant clients become investors by upgrading, or up growing, their primary residences while holding onto their homes for rental purposes. He is also the proud founder of The Indies, a group of like-minded independent brokers that gather twice monthly to discuss the market, concepts, contract issues and to celebrate successes.
Crip moved to Fort Collins in 1997 fresh from Moorhead State University to play drums in area band The Atoll. Twenty years later, he still plays drums (primarily with Mama Lenny and the Remedy) but his main gigs are serving his clients and being a proud father and husband. He also plays racquetball and tennis whenever possible to offset his appetite for movie popcorn.
So whether you’re looking for your first home or your sixth multi-unit rental, Crip would love to hear from you. And if you want to play some racquetball he’s all about it.
