After 30 years of senior-level experience in marketing, management and administration, Gerald was looking for a new challenge. Reflecting fondly on his first home transactions, his appreciation for the importance of the client/broker relationship has prompted him to adopt a career in real estate himself. Most recently the Deputy Director at Denver’s spectacular Kirkland Museum, his expertise in art, architecture and design are the cornerstones of his client relationships. “I understand the complexities of the buying and selling process. The level of care and professionalism I bring to my clients is the same I would want for myself and that’s the standard Kentwood has always delivered.

To say that Gerald’s commitment to the community is like a 2nd full-time job would be an understatement. Passionate about initiatives that make Denver a more livable and accessible city, he currently serves on the Board of the RiNo Art District and he volunteers with the Five Points’ Sonny Lawson Park Stewardship Committee, the Curtis Park Homelessness Solutions Committee and the City Council District 9’s Safe Outdoor Spaces Advisory Council. Selflessly, he also quenches his thirst for craft beer by volunteering at the Great American Beer Fest every year. Gerald and his husband, Rob Price, also foster dogs through Paws on the Ground Colorado.

Gerald is proud to say he has learned with age to always make family and friends a priority, and he lives by the motto that “Plans are nothing; planning is everything.” Gerald has a poignant hero. “Teddy Roosevelt was committed deeply to conservation, the expansion of our national park system, and preservation of America’s cultural treasures even back in 1900.”

Life’s great turning point was moving from the East Coast to Denver in 1998 to embrace the mile-high lifestyle. Not surprisingly, he loves fly fishing, mountain biking, Red Rocks, dinner in RiNo and live music in the Park at City Park or the Five Points Jazz Festival.
