Part of Patsy’s unique family history includes the founding of Aspen in the late 1800s…so a deep affection for Colorado comes naturally to this Denver native.

Spending her first career as an elementary and junior high school teacher, Patsy views being a real estate agent as a combination of informing, explaining and updating a client to make their experience as smooth as possible. She is sensitive to how stressful a transaction can be for a client, whether for exciting or perhaps difficult reasons.

It’s no surprise, then, that Patsy’s clients come back to her and refer her, over and over again. “I think my clients know that I care about them and will only tell them to buy/sell if it’s in their best interests.”

After teaching for so many years and redefining herself as a real estate broker in the Denver market, Patsy encourages people of all ages to be fearless. And although she never rests on her laurels, she is proud that Five Star Professional and 5280 Magazine have considered her an “outstanding home professional” since 2010, giving her the 5 Star Award annually. This high honor is meticulously vetted and doesn’t come easily. Patsy also has shattered glass ceilings, by becoming the first woman President of The University Club of Denver in its 128-year history.

Kentwood was, and remains, the only brokerage for her, and she feels lucky to collaborate with such knowledgeable, ethical colleagues. She holds her CNE, ABR and ePRO certifications.

On a personal side, Patsy was an avid skier and a voracious reader. She has volunteered at a hospice, taught handicapped skiing, and generously supports The Alzheimer’s Association, Shining Stars Foundation, NSCD and the Autism Society of Colorado. Patsy’s “bliss” is watching her four grandsons growing up, although a pampered weekend at the Broadmoor with a good book works, too. Tips she has passed along to her family that she’d like to share? “Empower people, be honest, be creative, trust your instincts, pay attention to the details, and know when something is not your[s] to deal with.”
